Abu Dhabi, April 10, 2025: The first round of the UAE Flyboard and UAE Jet Ski Championships will kick off tomorrow in Abu Dhabi, as part of the 2025 marine sports season calendar.

Organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, the two-day event will feature over 70 jet skis across various categories, with elite competitors from both within the UAE and abroad.

The Flyboard competition will take place tomorrow, Friday, at the Abu Dhabi Breakwater, with winners being honored after the event.

Meanwhile, the "UAE Jet Ski Championship" will span two days. The first day will see action in seven categories during the initial stage, followed by the continuation of races in the second stage, covering a total of 11 categories. These include Stand GP1, Sit GP3, Stand GP2, and Sit GP2.

The Junior Stand 3.3 category will feature three youth divisions, along with Sit GP4, the “Giants” category, Sit Pro, and the Freestyle category. A specially designed racecourse has been laid out along the Abu Dhabi Breakwater.

Nasser Al Dhaheri, Acting Director of Marine Sports, confirmed the implementation of a new system in the UAE Jet Ski Championship to elevate the level of competition and showcase individual talent. He noted that holding the two championships over two days allows participants more time to display their technical skills through various maneuvers and stunts.
