Abu Dhabi, UAE, April 27, 2025: The UAE Water Skiing Championship, organized by the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, successfully concluded yesterday after three days of thrilling competitions. The event featured 70 competitors from 12 nationalities, competing across 14 diverse categories in a vibrant sporting atmosphere.

The championship witnessed outstanding performances across all categories. In the Women’s Amateur Wakesurf, Anna Tsypova claimed first place, while Zosima Galinsky topped the Men’s Amateur Wakesurf. Other notable winners included Volodymyr Monohileti in the Men's Skim Wakesurf and Anthony Avdos in the Under-14 category.

Barbara Grauxska and Pavel Gos shined in the Women’s and Men’s Beginner Wakeboard categories, respectively.
Meanwhile, the Open categories saw victories from Ekaterini Andripoulou (Women’s Wakeboard), Best Mahatnagtapat (Men’s Wakeboard), Anastasia Romanova (Women’s Wakesurf), and Ruslan Yamakhanov (Men’s Wakesurf).

The closing ceremony honored the champions, attended by His Excellency Majed Abdullah Al Muhairi, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club; Mr. Ali Reza, Vice President of the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation; and Mr. Nasser Al Dhaheri, Acting Director of Marine Sports at the Club.

The event highlighted Abu Dhabi’s leading role in hosting premier international water sports competitions.
