Zhengzhou, China – October 13, 2025: Team Abu Dhabi continued to demonstrate its strength in the UIM F1H2O World Championship, with Swedish driver Erik Stark, pilot of Abu Dhabi 6, finishing fourth in Round 3 held on the Yellow River circuit in Zhengzhou. Despite starting from ninth, Stark delivered a determined performance that lifted his total to 39 points in the overall standings.

Emirati driver Mansoor Al Mansoori also showed great resilience, finishing 16th after a highly competitive race filled with close duels until the final laps.

The Zhengzhou Grand Prix highlighted the dominance of UAE teams on the international stage, as the Victory Teamclaimed a 1–2 finish and the Sharjah Team secured third place, reaffirming the UAE’s leadership in the world of powerboat racing. The race was won by Alec Weckström of Victory Team, who achieved his first career victory ahead of teammate Shaun Torrente, while Rusty Wyatt of Sharjah Team rounded out the podium.

Defending world champion Jonas Andersson faced engine issues and was forced to retire, dropping vital points and reshaping the championship standings. With two rounds remaining, the battle for the title remains intense among the top contenders.

Team Abu Dhabi’s consistent progress throughout the weekend underscored its determination to return to the top. Erik Stark’s strong showing and competitive pace reflected the team’s growing momentum and technical refinement after earlier rounds.
